Commission Eligibility Scenarios Explained
These commission eligibility scenarios are primarily written for Affiliates.
However, the same commission rules also apply to Creators who participate in the Creators Program.
For more details on how commissions apply to Creators, please refer to the final section below.
✅ Eligible for Commission
Example 1: Full-Priced Purchase
Order: 1 Custom-Made Phone Case at $45.95
Shipping Fee: $6 (order below free shipping threshold)
Total: $51.95
Affiliate Code Used: Yes
Customer Action: No issues reported, no refund requested — the order is complete.
Commission Earned: 10% of $45.95 = $4.60
Example 2: Discounted Order
Order: 2 Custom-Made Phone Cases at $45.95 each
Promotion Applied: 10% off second item
After discount: $45.95 + $41.36 = $87.31
Affiliate Code Used: Yes
Customer Action: No issues reported, no refund requested — the order is complete.
Commission Earned: 10% of $87.31 = $8.73
Note:
When a customer uses an Affiliate’s exclusive code, the first Custom-Made Product is charged at full price, while the second and any additional Custom-Made Products receive 10% off. This discount is automatically applied at checkout.
Affiliate commissions are calculated based on the final product prices after discount, excluding any shipping fees or taxes. So if a discount is applied to the customer’s order, the commission reflects the adjusted amount.
Example 3: Partial Refund (e.g. customer returns one item)
Order: 2 Custom-Made Phone Cases
Customer Action: Returns 1 item
Adjustment: Refund issued for the returned item
Commission Policy:
– Commission is calculated only on the item that was not returned
– If the refund causes the order to fall below a promotion threshold (e.g., free shipping), any associated fees (like $6 shipping) may be deducted from the customer’s refund
Affiliate only earns commission based on the final value of the product(s) the customer keeps.
Numerical Example – Partial Refund Order
Order: 2 Custom-Made Phone Cases:
First item: $45.95 + Second item: $41.36 (10% off with Affiliate Code) → Total: $87.31
Promotion Applied: Free standard shipping for orders over $70
Affiliate Code Used: Yes (qualified for item discount)
Customer Action: Returns 1 phone case
Adjustment:
– Refund is issued for the lower-priced item: $41.36 (Note: In cases of partial returns, the refund is applied to the lowest-priced item first)
– Since the remaining item ($45.95) is now below the $70 free shipping threshold, a $6 shipping fee is deducted from the refund
Total refund = $41.36 – $6 = $35.36
Final Commission Earned:
– Affiliate earns 10% commission on the final value of the product kept: 10% of $45.95 = $4.60

Example 4: Reprint & Reship (No Refund)
Customer Action: Reports an issue after delivery (e.g., wrong print, missing elements)
Resolution: DazzMart reprints and reships the item free of charge; no refund is issued
Commission Policy: The order is considered incomplete or adjusted
Affiliate commissions are not awarded for reprinted or replaced orders, even if a refund is not requested.
Example 5: Full Refund
Customer Action: Requests a full refund within the 3-day window
Result: Order is canceled and refunded in full
Commission Policy: Customer Transaction is void
No commission will be issued for refunded orders.
Example 6: Customer Error / Incorrect Address
Customer Action: Entered an incorrect shipping address, refused delivery, or the order was not successfully delivered.
Result: Order is returned, lost, or undeliverable.
Resolution: DazzMart may offer to reship depending on the situation (evaluated on a case-by-case basis).
Commission Policy:
– If an order is not completed successfully on the first attempt and requires a reshipment — whether due to customer error, product issue, or any fault on DazzMart’s part — no commission will be granted.
Note: Affiliates only earn commission on orders that are completed successfully on the first delivery attempt without requiring any reprints, reships, or adjustments.
Commission Eligibility Summary
The table below outlines commission eligibility for each type of transaction. These rules apply equally to Affiliates and Creators under DazzMart’s commission policy.
To qualify for commission:
– The order must be completed successfully on the first delivery attempt, without requiring any refunds, reprints, reships, replacements, or adjustments.
– The order must be paid in full, or discounted only through approved promotions (e.g., exclusive Affiliate Codes).
– The customer must not report any post-delivery issues that require DazzMart to reprocess or resend the product.
Commission is not granted for transactions that involve:
– Full or partial refunds, including customer-initiated returns.
(Exception: Made-to-order products that are not refunded may still qualify for commission.)
– Reprints or reshipments, regardless of whether the issue originated from DazzMart, the supplier, or the customer.
– Delivery issues, such as lost packages, incorrect shipping addresses, failed deliveries, or undeliverable status.
– Customer errors, including providing an incorrect shipping address, refusing delivery, or any other cause that results in the order not being successfully delivered on the first attempt.
DazzMart reserves the right to determine commission eligibility at its sole discretion, based on the final outcome of each order.

How Commission Works for Creators
The commission eligibility scenarios outlined above (Examples 1–3) also apply to Creators participating in the DazzMart Creators Program.
Like Affiliates, Creators earn commissions only on completed and eligible Customer Transactions.
The key distinction is that Creators are not responsible for actively promoting or marketing their own Designs.
Instead, their main responsibility is to create artwork that resonates with customers and has the potential to sell, while DazzMart and its partners manage the promotion.
